Oral Function & Oral-Habilitation
Focused Feeding Support
Advanced evaluation of tongue mobility, oral motor patterns, and compensations.
Feeding problems aren’t always about positioning. Often these problems begin with how a baby uses their mouth or moves their body. With advanced training in oral habilitation, we assess tongue function, suck patterns, muscle engagement, jaw excursion, and overall feeding coordination. You’ll receive functional exercises, bodywork recommendations when appropriate, and guidance on improving your baby’s efficiency and comfort at the breast/chest or bottle. This service is especially helpful when you suspect tongue tie, baby fatigues easily, or feeding feels harder than it should.
